Use:
Plate acoustic attenuators are designed to suppress noise in ventilation and air conditioning duct systems.
Design:
External cover is made of galvanized steel. Connection flanges are made of DW duct profiles and H corners. Thanks to this the attenuator is stiff enough and can be easily built into the duct system. Up to the length of 1000 mm a DW20 profile is used, above 1000 mm DW30 profile is used. Frames of the attenuating slips are made of galvanized steel and filled with sound absorbing material - mineral wool.
The fibre glass cloth which completely covers the outside of the slits prevents the mineral wool from penetrating into the duct system. The use of high quality attenuating materials and proper installation of the product ensures high attenuating parameters.
It is possible to produce attenuators with non-standard dimensions.
