Configuration:
The body of the heater is made of galvanized sheet and the heating elements are made of high quality steel. The external feeder box includes a feeder block, two thermostats, and heating element (double spiral) providing proper heating of the flowing air. The heater includes two rubber gaskets, which tightens the connection with the channel installation. Power protection is ensured by IP43 standard.
Adjustment and protection:
Use the external controller (i.e. Pulser or TTC type) to adjust the heater. MBE heaters are protected against overheating with a double thermostat. The first level protection is activated when the temperature exceeds +50°C. After the heating elements cool down to their standard temperature, the heater will be automatically restarted. The second level of protection is activated when the temperature exceeds +120°C. To switch the heater on again, you will have to restart it automatically.
Installation:
MBE heaters can work in any position. For his type of heater, the direction of air current is insignificant. The distance between the heater and the nearest elbow, fan or ventilator should be at least twice the heater diameter. The heater should be installed in such a way as to ensure free Access to the electric box.
Operating environment:
- the heater has been designed for heating a flow of clean air, free of any flammable or explosive substances, chemicals in the form of vapors, dust, etc.
- the heater meets the requirements of IP 20 and can be operated in ambient temperatures between -30 and +50°C
- air temperature at the heater outlet must not exceed +50°C
- air velocity inside the heater must be maintained at not less than 2 m/s
- the device can be operated in any position between horizontal and vertical
- the electric terminal box can be installed in any position, i.e. from facing up to facing down, regardless of the heater diameter
- air inside the heater can flow in any direction
